The beginning of an era

Hey everybody! or... whoever reads this blog (hopefully someone will). As you can read on the tittle, this is the beginning of an era! I mean... it is ALWAYS the beginning of something for someone. To me, today I start to write again, and that's my beginning. Why? I recently watched the movie "Julie & Julia"; in that movie Julie started a blog with a purpose. I've always liked to read AND to write... but my problem is... I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO WRITE ABOUT!. Poetry? I'm terrible even at reading it. Novels? Too long and too much time, maybe I need some practice first. Short stories? I only have the beginning, the middle or the end of a story, never the whole thing. Songs? I only can sing... I mean, I try to sing. Anyway, Julie wanted to be a writer and started with a novel, then a blog, then she became a writer. I'm not intending to follow her steps as a rule, but her example to do something she enjoys and sharing it with people. It is even more shocking when you found out that Julie and Julia actually exist!

So, the big question is: What am I going to write about? I have noooo idea!! I don't have a plan, I don't have such a specific idea. There are so many topics out there, I'll figure it out. There's another minor question: If my native language is Spanish, why am I writing in English? Well... I miss using another language in my life. Also, I need to practice my English (and, believe or not... I like it!), and of course I can't write it in Japanese... it would be a veeeery short blog. Since I'm not an English native speaker, you will find lots and lots (hopefully not that many) of mistakes, so I'm sorry about that. I will become better and better, not only at writing but also at learning vocabulary and grammar structure (please correct me if you see a mistake!)

This blog has had many purposes along its history; somehow I feel it has been with me in many experiences and I do not wish to start a new one but continue this one and show it how I feel right now. This blog will reflect the beginning of my very own era, not beacuse I'm a new person, but because I'm always growing and trying new/different things to make everyday something completely enjoyable.
